Kevin Braddock founded Heartwood Financial Group with a clear mission: to build deep, lasting relationships and guide clients with care, clarity, and confidence through life’s financial decisions.
Kevin’s inspiration to become a financial advisor came early in life. Growing up in a small New Jersey town, his family worked closely with a trusted advisor who became much more than a professional—he was part of the family. His presence during both celebrations and challenges left a lasting impression on Kevin and showed him the true impact a dedicated advisor can have on a family’s life. That example guides his work to this day.

With over 13 years of experience, Kevin is passionate about helping simplify complex financial matters so clients can move forward with clarity and confidence. He takes time to truly understand each person’s story, values, and long-term goals—crafting personalized strategies to help them work toward their aspirations, whether that’s retiring with confidence, sending a child to college, or simply sleeping better at night.
Before founding Heartwood Financial Group in 2022, Kevin built his career at Edward Jones and later served as a partner at Grand Oak Wealth Management. He is a graduate of Clemson University, where he earned a degree in financial management.
Kevin lives in Estill, South Carolina, with his wife Mary and their two daughters, Anna and Whitley. When he’s not working with clients, he enjoys woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his family—especially on the waters near Saint Helena Island.
